Hindu community in Karachi arranges Iftar for 500 people daily to promote religious harmony

Hailing from Karachi, a group of young Hindu volunteers from Maheshawari group, feed hundreds of people daily in the month of Ramadan as a message of goodwill and interfaith harmony.
They not only help others with lavish treats to break their fast but some of them also fast.
They serve vegetarian food to everyone as team Maheshwari premier League who organizes this is the only vegetarian community in Pakistan. While keeping intact their faith and belief in vegetarianism, they promoted brotherhood & harmony.
They aim to show that in their society, people from different religions can live together in harmony and celebrate each other's festivities together.
Additionally, some members of the team were also fasting themselves, showing solidarity and empathy.
Hindu community usually organizes Iftar parties for Muslims in parts of Sindh province,
Earlier, a Hindu man in the Tharparkar district organized an Iftar party for his Muslim friends at his house and also arranged a place for Maghrib prayers.
