In another shocking incident, a donkey owner in Hyderabad, the second largest city in Sindh, amputated his donkey’s leg in a fit of rage after it fought with another donkey.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the Seri area on Sunday. The donkey’s owner, identified as Mir Rind, was driving the donkey when the fight broke out, prompting him to violently punish the animal. Following the incident, Mir Rind was arrested and sent to jail by court order.

Earlier, on June 14, an influential landlord in Sanghar committed a similarly cruel act by severing the leg of a poor man’s camel that had strayed into his field for grazing.

This incident took place in the Mundh Jamrao area. Media reports indicate that five individuals were arrested in connection with the camel’s injury. Footage of the brutal act spread rapidly on social media, inciting widespread condemnation. Despite the public outrage, the initial police report filed a First Information Report (FIR) against unknown individuals rather than directly accusing the landlord.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ijaz confirmed the arrest of five suspects, with two confessing to the crime. In response, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori announced plans to provide two camels to the owner of the injured animal.
