Mother of three reportedly commits suicide by jumping from 11th floor in Islamabad

A woman allegedly committed suicide after jumping from the rooftop of a multi-storey building in Islamabad, police said on Thursday.

According to media reports, the incident took place within the jurisdiction of the Kirpa police station. The woman reportedly jumped from the 11th floor of the building and died on the spot.

Family members and police officials stated that the deceased, a resident of Jinnah Garden, had been facing domestic issues and was reportedly under mental stress for a prolonged period.

The police said an investigation from multiple angles has been launched, while the body has been shifted to hospital for post-mortem examination.
