PPP agrees to support key government bill in National Assembly: sources

ISLAMABAD, August 20: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has assured the government of its support for important legislation as an important government bill would soon be presented in the National Assembly, according to sources.

It is reported that PPP has assured the government of its support for one important bill, revealed sources.

Sources stated that Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with President Asif Ali Zardari. In the meeting, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpur were also present, revealed sources from PPP.

Details of various issues concerning the important government bill were discussed in the meeting, sources from PPP said.

Sources reported that Naqvi informed President Zardari about the proposed legislation and sought his support for the important bill.

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has assured Mohsin Naqvi of its support for the bill, sources revealed.

Sources stated that Attorney General Mansoor Awan has also held meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in connection with the proposed legislation.
