Ride-hailing driver harassed by female passengers over fare dispute in Karachi

An online ride-hailing service driver was verbally abused by two female passengers in Karachi after they refused to pay the fare, claiming he had not dropped them at their destination.

The incident reportedly occurred near Kamran Chowrangi in Karachi's Gulistan-e-Jauhar area. The driver, who remained calm throughout, recorded the altercation as one of the women continued to hurl abuses at him. He insisted that the ride had been completed and demanded his fare.

When confronted about being filmed, the woman shouted at the driver, but he explained that he was recording the incident as proof to submit to his company, showing the passengers’ misbehavior.

The video circulated on social media, where users criticiaed the passengers for their offensive language and unreasonable behavior. 

Many praised the driver for staying composed and handling the situation professionally.
