Several individuals in Islamabad looted laptops and other equipment from a fake call center in Sector F-11 following a raid by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on March 15. Viral videos of the incident showed people walking away with electronic devices and furniture.
According to some unverified reports, those involved in the looting were not ordinary locals but Pakistani workers employed at the Chinese-run call center. These workers allegedly discovered their employer’s fraudulent activities during the raid and, fearing the closure of the center and loss of their wages, took valuables from the premises.
The FIA’s Cyber Crime Cell had been investigating the call center for a long time over its involvement in international fraud. During the operation, authorities reportedly arrested more than 24 individuals, including some foreign nationals, while several suspects managed to escape.

Due to weak security arrangements after the raid, the workers took advantage of the situation and looted valuable technical equipment, including laptops and monitors.
Viral videos on social media showed a crowd taking away items from the building.

Amid the chaos, some foreigners were also seen fleeing the scene.
