10 bidders for two new PSL 11 franchises unveiled

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the 10 groups eligible to participate in the auction for two new Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises, ahead of the league’s expansion from six to eight teams.
The auction is scheduled for January 8 at the Jinnah Convention Centre in Islamabad. The two new teams will compete in PSL 11, which is set to run from March 26 to May 3, 2026.
The 10 qualified bidders include companies and business groups from diverse sectors such as technology, telecom, real estate, fintech, and investment:

Inverex (Renewable Energy): A leading solar energy firm in Pakistan with prior involvement in PSL sponsorship.

OZ Group / OZI Developers (Real Estate): Chaired by Hamza Majeed, with interest in sports and entertainment investment.

VGO Tel (Technology): Karachi-based mobile tech company led by Naveed Gaba.

Jazz (Telecom): Major telecom provider and long-term PSL sponsor.

DSM Tareen Group (Business/Sports): Led by Ali Khan Tareen, former Multan Sultans owner.
