Faf du Plessis joins PSL after quitting IPL

South African star batter Faf du Plessis has left the Indian Premier League (IPL) to join the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
According to reports, the South African cricketer announced the major decision on social media, stating, “After playing 14 years in the IPL, I have now decided to play in the PSL.”
He added that this year he chose to take on a new challenge and is looking forward to playing in PSL Season 11.
Faf du Plessis described the move as an exciting step, offering him the opportunity to experience something new and grow further as a player.
He expressed enthusiasm about getting to know a new league closely, praising the PSL for its energy and talent.
He also looked forward to playing in front of Pakistan’s traditional hospitality and passionate fans, concluding with, “See you soon.”
