Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has denied rumors circulating on social media about the birth of his son, urging fans to refrain from sharing unverified information.

The 30-year-old pacer took to his Instagram story and said, “The news regarding the birth of my child is false.”

"Please avoid trusting and spreading fake news. Any informational about my personal life originating g from a non-official account is mere rumor.” his post read.

Earlier, Ehtisham Siddiqui, known for sharing cricket-related news on social media, reported that Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf had welcomed a baby boy.

Siddiqui also posted a photo of a baby, claiming it to be Rauf's son.

 

The news quickly spread across social media, with people flooding Rauf with congratulatory messages. However, the pace ace refuted the claims today.

Earlier, false reports of the right-arm bowler's son's death also made rounds on social media.

Haris Rauf tied the knot with his schoolmate, Muzna Malik, in December 2020 in Islamabad.
