As Pakistan gears up to host the highly anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Karachi's youth is stepping up to excite cricket fans worldwide with an energetic anthem created using artificial intelligence.
While the AI-generated track, titled "Dil Tham Lay Pyary," is not directly associated with the ICC Champions Trophy, it draws inspiration from the passion and excitement surrounding international cricket events.
Interestingly, the anthem features no renowned singers or musical instruments.
Co-founder of mobile journalism Ayaz Khan sang this song himself without using a professional studio or noise-free environment. However, artificial intelligence played a key role in achieving a polished final product.
“The editing step was a little harder, it took time,” saiid Ayaz. However, the lyric indicated that the nation’s love for cricket the driving force that made the process easier.
It could be stated that it is a low-budget energetic song, before hosting the world’s biggest cricket event, set to begin in the middle of February, with Pakistan’s match.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, despite the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI's) efforts to relocate the matches as India refused to send its team to Pakistan.
India cited political and security concerns despite assurances from the Pakistani authorities regarding the security arrangements and the tentative match schedule.
