Pakistan’s cricketers have registered significant progress in the latest ICC ODI rankings following their strong performances in the ongoing series against Sri Lanka.

In the batting charts, middle-order batter Salman Ali Agha jumped 14 places to 16th with 639 points after scoring a century in the opening ODI. Opener Saim Ayub also surged 18 spots to 35th with 557 points.

However, captain Babar Azam slipped two places to 7th, while Mohammad Rizwan dropped four spots to 27th. Fakhar Zaman also fell four places to 31st. India’s Rohit Sharma continues to top the ODI batting rankings, followed by Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran and New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell.

In bowling, Abrar Ahmed made one of the biggest leaps, climbing 18 places to 20th with 575 points, while Haris Rauf rose two spots to 29th. Naseem Shah retained his 34th position. Spinner Mohammad Nawaz improved by five places to 65th, but Shaheen Afridi dropped one spot to 16th, and Mohammad Wasim Jr. slipped three places to 85th. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan remains the No.1 ODI bowler, with England’s Jofra Archer moving to second and South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj third.

Among all-rounders, Salman Ali Agha gained seven spots to reach 11th, while Naseem Shah advanced to 27th. Saim Ayub climbed 12 places to 36th, Haris Rauf moved to 56th, and Mohammad Nawaz jumped 38 positions to 61st. Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai continues to lead the ODI all-rounder rankings, ahead of Sikandar Raza and Mohammad Nabi.
