Pakistani cueist Asjad Iqbal suffered a defeat in the final of the IBSF World Six Red Snooker Championship held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on Wednesday.
He lost to an Indian player with a score of 6-2 frames, unable to sustain his strong performance in earlier matches.
Just a day before, Iqbal had outclassed Indian opponent Malkeet Singh in the semi-final to secure his place in the final.
Iqbal’s impressive display in the crucial semi-final match led to a commanding 6-0 victory on Tuesday.
Singh struggled to cope with Iqbal's exceptional form, failing to make a massive break throughout the match.
In contrast, Iqbal produced an impressive break of 40 in the sixth frame, underscoring his superiority.
The convincing win followed Iqbal's quarter-final triumph over Cyprus' Michael Georgiou, whom he defeated 5-2.
