Pakistani cricketer Javeria Khan ties the knot

Former Pakistan women cricket team captain, Javeria Khan, has tied the knot with Waqas in a star-studded ceremony held in Karachi on Sunday.
Multiple photos and videos have made rounds on social media of the love birds' special event, prompting fans to shower the happy couple with love and well wishes.
In the pictures, Khan, who usually was spotted in a cricket jersey, can be seen wearing a delicate off-white embroidered bridal dress, wearing soft makeup with golden jewellery on her big day.
Whereas, the groom put on an off-white coloured sherwani with a white coloured pajama matching the same hue combination.
Javeria's wedding reception was attended by her fellow cricketers, including Sana Mir, Ayesha Zafar, Kaynat Hafeez and others.
The dance (Luddi) performance of the fellow cricketers multiplied the jollity of the event.
Taking to Instagram, Pakistani women batter, Kaynat Hafeez shared the moments with a caption: "Wedding Vibes only."
Javeria Khan brought her name into the lime light with her cricketing career of 116 ODIs and 122 T20Is.
She debuted in world-class cricket in 2008 when the national cricket team was playing an ODI series against Sri Lanka.
She had a blistering career in cricket with almost 2,885 in ODIs and 2,018 runs in T20s.
Javeria played her last ODI in 2022 in India. However, A T20 match between Pakistan and Irland in February 2023 was a wrapping-up contest of Khan’s career in overs format.
