Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has invited 'orphaned children' to watch the match between Pakistan and New Zealand, scheduled for Thursday (April 25).
According to reports, 140 underprivileged children have been invited as 'special guests' by the cricket body to experience the exciting fourth T20 match between the Green Shirts and Kiwis at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium.
The children will be provided with first-class enclosure tickets on the instructions of Naqvi.
PCB officials coordinated with the Director General of Social Welfare to arrange tickets for the children.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the initiative represents a modest endeavour to bring joy to the faces of vulnerable and orphaned children.
The opening match was halted by rain but in the second clash, the Green Shirts thrashed New Zealand with a comfortable win, claiming a 1-0 lead in the series.
New Zealand secured a convincing 7-wicket victory in the third T20I to level the series at 1-1.
The series will conclude in Lahore with the fifth and final T20I on April 27 (Saturday).
