IRGC commander warns of powerful operations against US

A spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya unit the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Ibrahim Zulfiakri warned of “powerful operations with heavy consequences” targeting the United States, according to Tehran Times.

The Khatam al-Anbiya unit is the engineering arm of IRGC. 

The warning comes in response to the US airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites carried out on Saturday night, which Tehran has condemned as a serious act of aggression.

In a bold statement, the spokesperson called US President Donald Trump a "criminal" and a "gambler," warning that Washington will face severe consequences.

“You can start the war, but we will be the ones to end it,” he said, vowing a powerful retaliation from Tehran.

The spokesperson warned of “powerful operations with heavy consequences” targeting the United States, according to Tehran Times.

“After this aggression, the hands of the clock will no longer turn in your favor. The warriors of Islam, in response to this crime, will carry out powerful and targeted operation that will inflict heavy, regretful and unpredictable consequence upon you,” he said.

Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that the US had carried out a "very successful attack" on Iran's Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear facilities.

He stated that the Fordo nuclear site, their primary target, had been "completely bombed" and "destroyed." In response, Iran declared it would retaliate fully, with its forces determining the timing and nature of their response.
