Israeli army has continued their strikes on Iran, with the Israel Occupation Forces (IDF) claiming on Monday that six Iranian airports were targeted in the latest wave of attacks.

According to the IOF, the airstrikes hit airports located in western, eastern, and central Iran, including Mehrabad, Mashhad, and Dezful.

In a statement posted in Persian on X, the IOF said, “The strikes damaged runways, underground bunkers, a refueling plane, and F-14, F-5, and AH-1 aircraft belonging to the Iranian regime.”

“The air force disrupted the ability to take off from these airports and the operation of the Iranian army’s air power from them,” the post read.

Following the US bombing of Iran’s nuclear sites, a senior adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a stern warning to all countries that allow their territory to be used for attacks against Iran.

According to Iranian state news agency IRNA, Ali Akbar Velayati said, “Any country in the region or elsewhere that is used by American forces to strike Iran will be considered a legitimate target for our armed forces.

Velayati further declared that the United States “no longer has a place” in the Middle East after launching overnight strikes on Iranian facilities.

“There is no longer any place for America or its bases in this region and the Islamic world,” he stated, adding, “America has attacked the heart of the Islamic world and must await irreparable consequences. The Islamic Republic does not tolerate any insult or aggression against itself.”
