Over 340,000 intending pilgrims register online

ISLAMABAD: The registration drive for aspiring pilgrims for Hajj 2027-2030 is underway with the total number of people who have registered online from home crossing 340,000.

As per the spokesperson for Ministry of Religious Affairs, 246,000 aspirants have gone for the government Hajj scheme, whereas 94,000 are for private Hajj scheme.

The total number of aspirants who have registered is 156,000 from Punjab, 100,000 from Sindh, 51,000 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15,000 from Islamabad, 12,000 from Balochistan, 2,600 from Azad Kashmir, and 1,200 from Gilgit.
