A Pakistani taxi driver in Dubai earned praise after demonstrating a remarkable act of kindness and hospitality toward a female Chinese tourist. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai honored driver Falak Niaz Khan with a certificate of appreciation and a special award for his courteous conduct.

The recognition came after a video went viral on social media showing Khan warmly welcoming a Chinese tourist, even speaking to her in Mandarin, her native language.

In the video, Khan was seen helping the tourist with her luggage and engaging her in a friendly, respectful conversation.

The tourist, visibly delighted, asked Khan if he was from Pakistan. Smiling, he replied, “Yes.” The two even took a cheerful selfie together during the ride.

Upon reaching her destination, Khan once again displayed exemplary manners by retrieving her luggage and bidding her farewell in Mandarin.

In a special ceremony, the Director General and Chairman of the Executive Board of Dubai’s RTA presented the award to Khan, commending his behavior as a reflection of Dubai’s commitment to warm, respectful service for all visitors.

He praised Khan for embodying the city’s values of hospitality and representing both Dubai and Pakistan with dignity and grace.
