Saudi police dismantled a prostitution network operating from a residential apartment in Najran city, arresting 12 expatriates in a coordinated security operation.

According to reports, the Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed the arrests in an official statement, noting that the suspects included five men and seven women.

The operation was carried out jointly by the Najran Regional Police’s Special Task and Duties Force and the General Administration for Community Security and Human Trafficking Control.

Authorities say the raid was part of an ongoing crackdown on illegal and immoral activities across the kingdom.

All detained individuals were transferred to the Public Prosecution after initial legal procedures were completed, the ministry added.

Saudi Arabia enforces strict laws against prostitution, human trafficking, and other moral crimes, penalties for which can include lengthy imprisonment, heavy fines, and in some cases, the death penalty.
