US President Donald Trump claimed that Saturday night's airstrike "obliterated" three of Iran's nuclear facilities. His statement came after Iranian authorities insisted that the sites sustained minimal damage.

“Monumental damage was done to all nuclear sites in Iran, as shown by satellite images. Obliteration is an accurate term!” Trump wrote on Truth Social platform.

“The white structure shown is deeply embedded into the rock, with even its roof well below ground level, and completely shielded from flame. The biggest damage took place far below ground level. Bullseye!!!”

The satellite imagery and expert assessments indicate that the sites, particularly the one in Fordow, did suffer considerable damage. The Fordow uranium enrichment facility, which is located deep inside a mountain, is believed to have sustained significant internal damage.

The other two targeted facilities, in Natanz and Isfahan, also reportedly suffered some degree of structural damage, though to a lesser extent.

In another post, US President Donald Trump suggested that a regime change in Iran may be necessary, arguing that the current leadership is incapable of restoring the country’s strength.

Trump shared a post on the Truth Social platform where he said, “It’s not politically correct to use the term, “regime change,” but if the current Iranian regime is unable to MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN, why wouldn’t there be a regime change??? MIGA!!!”

His comments came amid ongoing debate among analysts over whether Israel or the US is actively seeking regime change in Tehran.

Trump also defended his controversial decision to bomb Iran’s nuclear sites, criticising Republican Representative Thomas Massie of Kentucky for opposing the move.

Trump claimed that Saturday night’s airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan effectively “took the bomb right out of the hands of Iran,” and prevented a greater threat.

“We had a spectacular military success yesterday, taking the “bomb” right out of their hands (and they would use it if they could!),” he wrote on the Truth Social platform while criticising Thomas Massie.
