Video: Monkey steals man’s iPhone, returns after ‘deal’

In a bizarre incident, a monkey stole a man's iPhone in India.

A video of the incident that occurred at a temple was shared on Instagram by a user.

In the video, two monkeys can be seen sitting on the rooftop structure with one holding the man's expensive iPhone. A crowd gathered, trying to help the man get his phone back.

They made a deal with the monkey by offering a pack of Frooti. When the monkey grabbed the drink, it quickly dropped the phone. An alert person on the ground caught the phone, saving it from any harm.

The video has brought joy to many, with people saying that monkeys have become quite intelligent as they have learned to steal phones and eyeglasses to negotiate for food.
