In Thailand, a wild elephant stormed into a store and feasted on various food items, causing both amusement and alarm.

According to international media reports, the incident took place in the northeastern region of Thailand near Khao Yai National Park, where a male elephant wandered out of the park and onto a nearby road.

Driven by hunger, the elephant entered a roadside store and began devouring food items of its choice.

Despite repeated efforts by park volunteers to drive the animal away, they were unsuccessful. The elephant helped itself to rice, bananas, sandwiches, and other goods.

Notably, it even left the store with several food packets held in its trunk.

The uninvited visit caused damage to the shop, leaving the roof and floor smeared with mud and dirt brought in by the massive creature. However, no humans were harmed during the incident.

A volunteer from the national park stated that they are familiar with this particular elephant, which has a history of stealing food from nearby homes in previous incidents.
