Gold price surges Rs13,700 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices jumped in Pakistan on Thursday, tracking a sharp increase in the international market.

The price of gold per tola rose by Rs13,700 to Rs471,936, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs11,746 to Rs303,609.

On Wednesday, gold had declined by Rs3,700 to Rs458,236 per tola.

In the international market, gold gained $137 to reach $4,495 per ounce, including a $20 premium.

Meanwhile, silver prices increased by Rs369 to Rs7,169 per tola.
