Gold prices fall by Rs3,500 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Tuesday following the downward trend in the international bullion market.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold dropped by Rs3,500 per tola, settling at Rs420,362. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold stood at Rs360,392 after declining by Rs3,001 during the day.

A day earlier, the precious metal had seen a slight gain, with the price per tola rising by Rs1,300 to close at Rs423,862 on Monday.

Globally, gold also experienced a dip, with international prices falling by $35 to reach $3,980 per ounce, including a $20 premium, according to APGJSA data.

In addition, silver prices recorded a decrease of Rs130 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs5,022.
