Gold prices rebound, gain Rs1,500 per tola

KARACHI: After a week-long downward trend, gold prices rebounded sharply on Friday, with a notable increase of Rs 1,500 per tola.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold rose to Rs 357,700 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams climbed by Rs 1,286 to reach Rs 306,670.

In the international market, gold registered a gain of $15, pushing the price to $3,350 per ounce.

The sudden uptick comes amid ongoing volatility in both global and domestic bullion markets, where prices have been fluctuating due to economic uncertainty and currency pressures.
