Gold prices see decline in Pakistan after reaching record high

Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a decline on Monday, following a three-day upward trend.
The price of gold per tola fell by Rs1,800, settling at Rs338,800 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,543, bringing it to Rs290,466, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, the price of gold per tola had reached a new record high of Rs340,600, after a rise of Rs1,800 in a single day.
The international gold price also saw a decrease on Monday, with the rate at $3,218 per ounce, a drop of $18 from the previous day, according to APGJSA. The premium stood at $20.
In contrast, the price of silver remained stable at Rs3,234 per tola.
