Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trajectory on Saturday, mirroring the global increase in gold rates.
According to the APGJSA, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs500, reaching a record high of Rs272,500.
Similarly, 10-gram gold witnessed a Rs429 jump, selling at Rs233,625. This upward trend follows Friday's record-breaking price of Rs272,000 per tola.
Internationally, gold rates also experienced a surge, with the price per ounce rising by $10 to $2,622, accompanied by a $20 premium.
In contrast, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,950 per tola.
Market analysts attribute the gold price hike to global economic uncertainties, inflationary pressures, and the precious metal's perceived safe-haven status.
