A prankster in London sparked backlash after filming himself eating KFC chicken inside a vegetarian Indian restaurant located within a Hindu temple.
In a viral video, a British man of African descent can be seen entering Govinda’s, a well-known vegetarian restaurant run by the ISKCON temple in central London.
Upon asking the staff whether they served meat, he was informed that the restaurant strictly offers vegetarian food. Moments later, he took out KFC chicken and began eating it at the premises.
The restaurant staff immediately asked him to stop and leave. When he refused and began offering the chicken to staff, other customers, he was forcibly escorted out of the premises.

In response to the backlash, the prankster, identified as Cenzzo, released a statement saying he is a Christian and was unaware that the restaurant was part of a temple. He publicly apologised and added that he intends to return to the temple to issue a personal apology.
Govinda’s also issued a statement, noting that the prank "disrupted the peaceful and devotional atmosphere" of the temple and created a deeply disturbing experience for both the restaurant and its visitors.
However, the statement also confirmed that the restaurant owner accepted Cenzzo’s apology, in line with the temple’s commitment to compassion and spiritual values.
