Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has signed a landmark cargo interline special rate agreement with Bangladesh’s Biman Airlines, a move aimed at boosting trade and streamlining air cargo movement between the two countries.
The agreement will come into effect on December 1, 2025.
Under the partnership, major Saudi cities including Jeddah, Madinah, and Riyadh will serve as transit gateways, creating a strategic corridor for regional trade.
The agreement is expected to simplify logistics for the transportation of high-value commodities such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, and agricultural products.
Through the combined networks of PIA and Biman Airlines, exporters and importers will have access to quality and cost-effective cargo services.
PIA officials said the initiative reflects the airline’s commitment to providing Pakistani businesses with the most efficient cargo solutions in the region.
