A viral YouTube documentary has exposed serious allegations against fashion designer Mehmood Bhatti, including legal disputes, contradictory statements, and past admissions of criminal activity, according to multiple reports.
The investigation, backed by court records and Bhatti’s own autobiography, has sparked public debate.
Key revelations include a decades-long property dispute with his brother, Munir Bhatti, a senior lawyer. Despite losing a 2002 case, Bhatti filed a fresh lawsuit in 2021—raising questions under the Limitation Act.
His autobiography, Paris Main Dusra Janam, contains shocking confessions, including document fraud, theft, and involvement in prostitution in Paris.
The documentary also debunks Bhatti’s claim of majority ownership in National Defence Hospital, with legal documents showing only a disputed minor share. Hospital officials confirm he holds no administrative role.
Further controversy stems from Bhatti’s contradictory statements—claiming to be orphaned in childhood while later admitting he disowned his mother. Recent advocacy for open relationships has drawn backlash, with religious institutions issuing fatwas against him.
Additionally, a Rs. 130 million theft case filed by Bhatti was dismissed by courts due to lack of evidence. His wife has also accused him of abuse in a separate legal case.
