Actor Muneeb Butt declared innocent in short-term kidnapping case

The police have submitted its charge sheet before an anti-terrorism court in a case involving the alleged abduction of a man and the theft of cryptocurrency worth 8,600 USDT, declaring actor Muneeb Butt innocent.

According to the seven-page charge sheet, the suspects are accused of kidnapping complainant Muhammad Mutaal from Shahrah-e-Faisal on April 23 and robbing him of cryptocurrency along with other valuables.

Police stated that Muneeb Butt had been accused of arranging accommodation for the suspects in Murree, but the investigation found no evidence linking him to the alleged crime and declared him innocent.

The charge sheet shows police official Ghalib as an absconder, while Shahid, Sattar Muhammad, Saleem Aleem and Wazir Muhammad have been shown as arrested.

Suspects Mohsin Rajpar and Abdul Rehman Chandio are currently out on bail, according to the charge sheet.

Investigators alleged that after taking the cryptocurrency and other belongings, the suspects abandoned the complainant in Karachi's Korangi Industrial Area.
