With election day drawing near, the anticipation and engagement has intensified for the crucial day on February 8, when the nation will cast their votes, aspiring for a new government amid a series of ongoing crises.
Renowned author Anwar Maqsood, celebrated for his satirical take on current politics, urged voters to actively participate in the upcoming polls and exercise their right to vote.
In a video message, he expressed, "On February 8, a day designated as a holiday, it is our responsibility not to remain idle. After spending so much time at home, 76 years to be exact, you have the right to shape the future by casting your vote for your preferred candidate. Personally, February 8 holds special significance for me as I live to witness the election. I encourage everyone to actively participate and come out to vote.”
