Court extends bail of Rajab Butt, Nadeem Nani Wala in gambling apps case

A Lahore sessions court has extended the interim bail of YouTuber Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Mubarak, also known as Nani Wala, in a case related to the promotion of gambling applications on social media.

The hearing on the interim bail applications was held at the Sessions Court Lahore, where Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed Quraishi presided over the proceedings.

Both applicants appeared before the court upon the expiry of their interim bail and marked their attendance. During the hearing, the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) submitted the case record to the court.

The investigating officer informed the court that the investigation is still incomplete and sought additional time to submit the final report.

The court had earlier granted the agency time to place the investigation record on file.

After hearing the arguments, the court extended the interim bail of Rajab Butt and Nadeem Mubarak till February 16.

It is pertinent to mention that the NCCIA has registered a case against both social media personalities on charges of promoting gambling applications.
