Farah Yousaf addresses speculations of separation from Iqrar-ul-Hassan

Host and journalist Farah Yousaf has finally addressed the ongoing rumours regarding her alleged separation from her husband Iqrar-ul-Hassan.

Farah began her career with ARY News and has since worked with several major media outlets, including Samaa TV, Abb Takk, and Dawn News. She currently runs a successful YouTube channel, where she shares her views, experiences, and current affairs commentary.

Farah later married anchorperson Iqrar-ul-Hassan, becoming his second wife. Iqrar is known to be married to three women.

Recently, speculation about Farah and Iqrar’s relationship began circulating on social media after Farah changed her Instagram user name to Farah Yousaf. Netizens quickly linked the change to rumours of separation, particularly as Iqrar has been frequently seen in vlogs and photos with his other two wives.

In a recent podcast appearance, Farah Yousaf addressed the rumours, dismissing them as false. She explained,

“Many people know me as Farah Iqrar, but Yousaf is my father’s name, and there’s no bond more special than that of a father. Sometimes, I feel like changing my bio back to Farah Yousaf. Recently, a fan asked if I had separated from Iqrar-ul-Hassan because my name appeared as Farah Yousaf," she said.

"On most of my social media accounts, I still use ‘Yousaf’ because those profiles are old and verified. Changing the name could affect my verification status, which is why I’ve kept it. Both names are mine, and both are very dear to me. There are personal reasons why I use Yousaf as my surname. There is no separation between us—people simply write whatever they want.”

Farah’s statement has put an end to the speculation, clarifying that her name change was not linked to any personal rift with Iqrar-ul-Hassan.
