Renowned actor Amar Khan believes that if a film is ever made on Operation Bunyanum Mursoos, Lollywood superstar Fawad Khan would be the ideal choice to portray Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed, citing their “striking resemblance.”
In a recent interview, Amar was asked to share her dream cast for a potential film based on Pakistan’s successful military response to India’s unprovoked aggression on May 7, 2025.
The operation, launched by Pakistan’s armed forces, captured the attention of the public, and so did the personalities behind it.
“Fawad Khan has a striking resemblance to AVM Aurangzeb Ahmed, and I think he should play AVM Aurangzeb. He’ll do a great job,” Amar Khan said.
Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed became a widely recognised figure during the brief conflict, acting as the spokesperson for the Pakistan Air Force. Alongside representatives from the army and navy, he frequently briefed the media on operational progress, military strategy, and war outcomes.
