‘Several countries are requesting training with PAF:’ AVM Aurangzeb Ahmed

Pakistan Air Force spokesperson, Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed, emphasised that mindset and leadership take precedence over training and weaponry, stating that Pakistani pilots are trained with a "different mindset."

He made these remarks during a joint press conference of the Pakistan Armed Forces held on Sunday, alongside DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry and Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz.

Air Vice Marshal Ahmed also highlighted that the Pakistan Air Force is currently training pilots from several countries and regularly participates in international exercises.

As part of Pakistan's retaliatory Operation Bunyan-um-Mursoos, Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmed outlined the PAF's successful and precise targeting of India's missile and defense infrastructure.

“The kind of training we have is remarkable,” he said. “I can say with great conviction that the difference was in the mindset, in the leadership, in the whole architecture,” he added. “The main driving force is the culture of the organisation, the leadership, and the mindset it has..”

He concluded his remarks by reciting a famous couplet from the poetry of Allama Iqbal.

momin hai to be-tegh bhi larta hai sipahi”
