Renowned actor Naeema Butt recently shared her former aspiration to pursue a career in medicine, but she ultimately abandoned the idea, finding herself unmotivated to wake up early for the MBBS entry test.
Naeema appeared on a program where she offered her fans an interesting insight, revealing that most of her family members, including her mother, are doctors.
Host Imran Ashraf asked Naeema why she chose to join the entertainment industry despite her family’s wishes for her to pursue medicine.
The Jindo actor disclosed that she completed her FSc in pre-medical but later pursued Mass Communication at university, adding that it might have been “written in her destiny.”
When asked what led her to switch from medicine, she explained, “I didn’t like waking up early for MBBS entry test, so I decided that very day that I didn’t want to become a doctor.”
She clarified that it wasn’t an impulsive choice, as she had been contemplating a career change for a while, and the day of the entry test solidified her decision.
During the program, she was also asked whether she believes in love at first sight.
Naeema shared that she does believe in it, but she doesn’t see it as an impulsive decision, explaining that something in the subconscious mind often attracts a person toward someone.
Naeema Butt captivated audiences with her marvelous acting in Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum, which also stars Hania Aamir as Sharjeena and Fahad Mustafa as Mustafa.
In her role, she portrayed a powerful businesswoman married to Mustafa's brother, Adeel. However, his fraudulent activities and affair with her best friend enraged her, leading her to end their relationship and to publicly shame her husband by organising a birthday party for him.
