Lahore court extends interim bail of Ducky Bhai's wife Aroob Jatoi

A sessions court in Lahore has extended the interim pre-arrest bail of Aroob Jatoi, the wife of YouTuber Saadur Rehman alias Ducky Bhai, in a case related to the promotion of gambling applications on social media.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Dr Sajida Chaudhry presided over the hearing, during which Jatoi appeared in court as her previous bail period had lapsed.

The court extended her bail until November 6 and instructed the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency to present an updated investigation report before the next hearing.

The NCCIA has filed a case against the YouTuber, his wife, and several others. According to the agency, the accused persons allegedly had links to an international gambling network and  promoted betting apps online in exchange for large payments.

Meanwhile, YouTuber Saadur Rehman remains behind bars on judicial remand, as his post-arrest bail requests have already been rejected by both a judicial magistrate and the sessions court.
