'My family received death threats': Ducky Bhai addresses rumours about joining MQM-P

Prominent YouTuber Saad Rehman, alias  'Ducky Bhai,' denied rumours of joining the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).

He turned to Instagram to highlight the serious consequences for himself and his family, who were receiving death threats due to the proliferation of fake news on social media. 

Contrary to circulating rumours, he addressed the issue in a video statement, emphasising that he had not entered the realm of politics. 

The clarification aimed to dispel the misinformation surrounding a photograph showing him with Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori.

The YouTuber expressed frustration, noting that the fabricated news garnered attention from several media outlets, adversely impacting his family, who received death threats. 

He said, “I have been a YouTuber for the past 7 years, and will remain a YouTuber for the next 10, 15 years. I have never shown any interest in politics with my audience, nor have I discussed politics in my videos.”

He clarified that occasional interactions with politicians are purely for work-related purposes. Criticising the spread of misinformation, he noted, “Famous magazines and Twitter accounts have spread fake news by taking a screenshot from a past video that I have joined politics.” 

Saad Rehman urged his fans to address any instances of receiving false news by commenting on the fake news posts, ensuring that those who missed his clarification could know the truth.

Ducky Bhai boasts over 3 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel and is recognised for his gaming channel, Ducky Extra, with 1 million subscribers.
