Nida Yasir admits to being caught cheating in exams twice

Renowned host Nida Yasir candidly admitted on her morning show that she was caught cheating in exams twice during her school years. 

Recounting her experience, Nida said that during one school exam, she was unprepared and decided to write cheat notes. However, her plan quickly backfired.

“During my school life, I used to cheat very foolishly,” she admitted. “Once, I had a Pakistan Studies test. Since the answers in this subject were very long, I thought, ‘Who can memorise all of this? So I prepared a cheat note.”

She continued, “On the day of the test, I kept the note inside my notebook and started copying from it. But right then, the teacher stood up and started collecting the test papers. She also took my cheat note along with the copy."

"Later, when the checked papers were returned, the teacher waved my cheat note in front of the whole class and said, ‘Don’t be ashamed, at least learn how to cheat properly’.”

In another incident during her board exams, Nida shared that she and her classmates had prepared only the important questions suggested by their teacher. However, when the exam paper was distributed, none of those questions appeared.

“I went outside the classroom pretending to get something from my bag and brought a five-year's solve paper to use during the exam,” Nida recalled.

But once again, she was caught. “The teacher took the paper from me and said, ‘No matter what you bring, I won’t let you cheat.’ I pleaded with her not to stop me or I’d fail.”

She then sat through the entire exam without her cheat notes.
