Omair Rana shares witty take on viral ‘wazifa’ to reduce electricity bills

Actor Omair Rana shared his own humorous take on reducing electricity bills after Maulana Azam Jamil’s viral ‘wazifa’ sparked debate online.

Taking to Instagram, Rana posted a video of Maulana Azam Jamil’s method and revealed that he had tried a similar trick, experiencing a "noticeable drop" in his bills.

"I also got a similar wazifa, and although I didn’t believe it at first, when I followed it, I noticed a substantial change in my bills," he said in his Instagram story.

While many expected Rana to share the results of the wazifa, he instead offered a sarcastic take on the concept. The actor advised his followers to use their "shahadah finger" (index finger) to switch off all unused electrical appliances while reciting "Bismillah."

He further joked that if anyone doubted the effectiveness of his method, they should place their shahadah finger on their forehead and think again.

Earlier, Maulana Azam Jamil had suggested that writing "Zam Zam" with one’s shahadah finger on the electricity meter twice a month, every 15 days, would lead to a considerable reduction in electricity bills within two months.

His claims sparked a debate on social media, with many questioning whether such advice could mislead people.
