Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala approach IHC to end travel ban

YouTubers Rajab Butt and TikToker Nadeem Naniwala have filed petitions in the IHC for the removal of travel ban that currently prevents them from going abroad. 

Both, Rajab and Naniwala argue that their name on the government’s travel ban list is unjustified and has significantly affected their professional work.

Lawyer barrister Raja Qadeer and Ahad Khokhar have filed the petition to the IHC to issue orders striking Rajab and Naniwala’s names off the list of travel ban. FIA, the Interior Secretary and other relevant authorities are listed as plaintiffs in the cases.

According to reports, hearings are expected to be scheduled soon, where the court will decide whether to grant the permit to both the influencers to travel abroad.

Meanwhile, a Lahore Sessions Court, earlier extended the interim bail of Rajab Butt and Nadeem Naniwala in a gambling-app promotion case until February 16.
