Renowned YouTuber and influencer Daud Kim, who converted to Islam in 2019, has fulfiled his dream of building a mosque in South Korea.
The announcement was made by Kim on his Instagram account with a heartwarming video, in which he along with others was seen constructing the mosque.
"Alhamdulillah I finally did it. With your help, I made a home of Allah (SWT)," he said in a caption.
"I also know that many people are concerned. But I will never give up on my dream of building a mosque. Thank you," Kim added.
In the video, worshippers could also be seen performing prayers in the newly-built mosque.
The mosque was built on Yeongjong Island in Inchon city, South Korea.
He also urged his followers to provide him with voluntary support for the noble cause.
Earlier in April, Kim shelved his plans to build a mosque after facing opposition from local residents.
In 2019, Daud, formerly known as Jay Kim, made a surprise announcement on his social media that he decided to change his faith to Islam.
He lives in South Korea and has more than 3.5 million followers on Instagram.
