Imran Khan is being held at GHQ, claims Qasim Khan Suri

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Qasim Khan Suri has made a shocking claim that the PTI founder Imran Khan is being locked up at General Headquarters and subjected to ‘torture.’ 

“ImranKhan is not in jail. He has been locked up in a very small cell at GHQ for the past 3 days, guarded by around 150 to 200 soldiers. A wall has been built in front of the cell. During the day, they put a black cloth on Khan's face and at night, they take off the cloth. He is under the worst torture,” he quoted anonymous sources as saying. 

Qasim Suri further alleged that the former prime minister has been confined to a small cell filled with a life-threatening toxic substance.

“Imran Khan has been exposed to a substance that threatens to destabilize his mental health. He is being held in a cramped room, where a poisonous substance is being sprayed, and its fumes are affecting his mind. Imran Khan’s health is rapidly deteriorating, and his life is in grave danger,” Qasim Suri’s post read, citing sources close to him.

He expressed concern that an assassination plot against Imran Khan is in progress and could materialise within the next five to seven days.

He called on the authorities to grant Imran Khan's sisters and lawyers access to him in prison to verify his well-being.

Suri also urged the international community to speak out against Imran Khan’s "unlawful" detention, which has now lasted for over a year and a half, and to take action to ensure his safety while he is incarcerated.
