41 terrorists killed in major operations in Balochistan

Pakistan’s security forces killed 41 terrorists in two separate IBOs in Balochistan, according to the ISPR.

The ISPR reported, the first operation was on the outskirts of Harnai District, army officials engaged a group of Fitna-al-Khawarij in an intense gunfight, resulting in the deaths of 30 terrorists.

A large reserve of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered and destroyed.

Moreover, in another raid in Panjgur District, 11 militants of Fitna-e-Hindustan were killed. Security forces also seized weapons, ammunition and money believed to be looted in a December 15 bank robbery in the district.

According to ISPR report, the killed terrorists had been involved in multiple past attacks.  Under the government’s “Azm-e-Istehkam”, operations will continue until complete elimination of terrorists from the region.

PM Shehbaz Sharif praised the armed forces for their success, saying the nation stands with them in the fight against terrorism. President Asif Ali Zardari also commended the forces for their efforts to eliminate terrorism from the country.
