Alleged drug dealer Pinky’s condition declared satisfactory after check-up in jail

Alleged drug queenpin Anmol alias Pinky underwent a medical examination at the Central Jail in Karachi, where prison doctors declared her condition satisfactory.

Speaking to a private TV channel over the phone, Inspector General Prisons Fida Hussain Mastoi said that the suspect had complained of kidney-related pain inside the jail. He said a prison doctor examined her and concluded that her condition was stable and that treatment could continue within the jail premises.

Responding to a question, the IG Prisons confirmed that a letter had earlier been written seeking security arrangements for a possible transfer to the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT), but added that no transfer or outside medical examination had been required so far.

He further stated that if doctors later deem it necessary, she would be shifted for further examination, but at present she has not been taken to any hospital and remains under treatment inside the jail.
