The daughter of nuclear physicist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, Dr Dina has lodged a case against forgers, who have been attempting to seize her father's Trust named after him, by creating fake documents and embezzlement in the Trust’s finances.
She filed a case against the alleged suspects after a struggle of two years.
Khan’s daughter said that his father dreamt of building a free hospital for common men in Lahore, for which he had formed a Board of Trust.
In his life, Dr Khan ousted some members from the board, she added.
“Those members forged fake documents after Dr Khan's death and expelled him from the board,” Dina revealed in an interview with a private news channel.
She said that in an attempt to save her father’s Trust from scammers, Dina approached every platform, but she did not receive a response from them.
Khan’s daughter added the counterfeiters levelled allegations against her as well.
Dr Dina expressed hope that the judiciary would serve her justice and she would be able to fulfill her father’s dream.
Abdul Qadeer Khan, who honored Pakistan with nuclear power, passed away on October 10, 2021.
