Sindh govt extends deadline for Ajrak number plates

Sindh Minister for Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Mukesh Kumar Chawla met with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday to discuss party affairs and provincial matters.
During the meeting, Chawla, who is also the party's chief whip in the Sindh Assembly, briefed the PPP leader about the attendance and legislative performance of PPP members in the provincial assembly.
He also briefed the chairman on the province’s current security situation, particularly in connection with the rollout of security-featured vehicle number plates.

On the directives of Bilawal, the minister announced an extension of the deadline for the mandatory installation of the new number plates.
Initially set for August 14, the deadline has now been extended to October 31.
