PTI candidates being offered Rs25 crores to change loyalties: Barrister Gohar

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan claimed that his party-backed MNA and MPA-elect are being offered Rs250 million to gain their support in national and provincial assemblies.

In a press conference after meeting PTI founder at Adiala Jail, Gohar said Imran Khan wants the party to form its “own government” in the centre, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab.

"Khan Sahib has nominated Ali Amin Gandapur as the chief minister KP, we will announce our candidates for the prime minister, speaker and deputy speaker in a daw or two," he added.

While giving details of all the National Assembly seats allegedly won by the PTI in the February 8 polls, Barrister Gohar said PTI has clinched 3 seats in Islamabad, 4 in Balochistan, 115 in Punjab, 16 in Sindh and 42 seats in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

"The PTI has won 180 seats and this is the mandate of the public," he said, adding that the party will share the form-45s in the form of a white paper.

On the other hand, PTI has decided to make an alliance with Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) to form governments in federal and Punjab. 

The decision was aimed at getting reserved seats for women and minorities in the centre and provincial governments.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, PTI spokesman Raoof Hasan said that party founder has ruled out the possibility of any talk with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).

"We will form a government with Jammat-e-Islami in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) over reserved seats," he added.
