Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan's wife, Bushra Bibi, has been diagnosed with an ear infection, her spokeswoman Mashal Yousafzai confirmed on Saturday.

Earlier on October 24, the former first lady was released from Rawalpindi prison after securing bail in the new Toshakhana case.

She was granted post-arrest bail by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on October 23 against the surety bond of Rs1 million.

Imran Khan's third wife will undergo further tests, Yousafzai said.

Bushra Bibi's spokesperson clarified that she has not engaged in any political discussions since her release.

Upon release, the 50-year-old spiritual leader was moved to Chief Minister House Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), where she is currently residing.

She was taken into custody on January 31 after a local court sentenced the couple to 14 years in jail in the Toshakhana case I.
